The Holland Sessions: Volume 4
Check out the Holland Sessions Volume 4 – Live at the Tipper. The Holland sessions is a songwriting showcase that features local songwriters who participate in Deborah Holland’s Songwriting workshops. These showcases are held a few times a year so that the group has a chance to perform the new songs they are workshopping in front of a live audience.
DEBORAH HOLLAND was introduced to the world as the lead singer and songwriter of Animal Logic, (with Stewart Copeland of The Police and jazz bassist Stanley Clarke). She went on to record 4 solo albums, 2 with the folk-Americana “super-group” The Refugees, scored 5 films, and wrote and performed dozens of songs for film and TV. Her latest solo album, VANCOUVER, was released on June 4th, 2013.
This session features Zulu Panda AKA Wesley David Scott, Artist Shirley Wiebe, Dean Sawatzky and Lyndsay Wills.
The venue is the Tipper Review Room 2066 Kingsway at Victoria in Vancouver, known for its hospitality, great food and cold beer. The Tipper is a longstanding supporter of the songwriting scene in Vancouver, hosting numerous songwriting groups including the Vancouver chapter of the Songwriters Association of Canada and the occasional BS Fridays.
